Intel to lay off 15,000 employees this week
The company will start a massive layoff operation this week. Approximately 15 thousand employees will be laid off. The decision will affect about 15 percent of Intel’s total workforce. In the process launched in August, attractive compensation packages were first offered to employees who voluntarily chose early retirement or wanted to leave their jobs.
